Get help with beta testing, supported file types, local storage, record integrity, or using Investment Vault. Review the answers below or contact us directly if your question is not covered.

Getting Started

What does Investment Vault do?

Investment Vault helps you import supported brokerage statements, review extracted candidate events, reconstruct a source-linked ownership history, verify supporting documents, and export a clear record of confirmed events and identified gaps.

Do I need an account to use Investment Vault?

No. Investment Vault is designed to process records locally on your device without requiring you to surrender sensitive files to a remote service account.

Supported Files

What file types can I import?

Investment Vault is designed for text-based PDF brokerage statements and related supported PDFs. Support may expand during beta testing based on participant feedback and testing results.

What happens after I import a statement?

Investment Vault processes the file locally and extracts candidate details for your review. You can edit, confirm, reject, or defer candidate events before anything is added to your ownership record.

Local Storage

Where are my imported records stored?

Imported records are processed and stored locally on your device. Dog House Ventures does not receive those imported records through the app.

Should I keep backups?

Yes. Because records remain on your device, you remain responsible for device security and for maintaining backups of important files and exported reports.

Record Integrity

What integrity protections does Investment Vault use?

Investment Vault uses SHA-256 and SHA3-256 integrity checks, an append-only audit trail, source-linked records, and chain-of-custody preservation to help detect mismatches and expose unauthorized changes.

Does integrity protection guarantee records cannot be altered?

No. The product is designed to be tamper-evident and to detect integrity mismatches. It does not claim that tampering is impossible.

Beta Testing

How do I apply for beta testing?

Use the Apply for Beta Testing button on this website. Beta access is limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee selection.

What should I expect during beta?

Beta participants help evaluate Investment Vault before launch. Features, supported documents, and presentation may change based on testing and feedback.
