Terms Governing Use of This Website and Investment Vault

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dog House Ventures LLC website and, where applicable, the Investment Vault product (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Investment Vault or apply for beta testing. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You may use the website to learn about Dog House Ventures and Investment Vault, review legal information, and contact us. You may use Investment Vault, when available to you, to import supported records you are authorized to use, review extracted candidate events, reconstruct ownership histories from evidence you provide, and export records for your own lawful purposes.

You may not misuse the Services, attempt to disrupt or compromise the website or product, reverse engineer except where applicable law prohibits that restriction, use the Services for unlawful purposes, import records you are not authorized to possess or process, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us or applying for beta access.

You are solely responsible for the records you import into Investment Vault, including ensuring that you have the right to possess and process those materials. Investment Vault extracts candidate events for your review; you remain responsible for reviewing, confirming, rejecting, or deferring those candidates before relying on any reconstructed history.

Because Investment Vault is designed to process and store records locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining device security, access controls, and backups of important source documents and exports. Dog House Ventures is not responsible for loss of data stored on your device.

The website, Investment Vault software, branding, text, and related materials are owned by Dog House Ventures LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Dog House Ventures or Investment Vault names, logos, or marks except as needed to use the Services as provided.

Investment Vault may be offered in limited beta form. Beta software may contain errors, incomplete features, or changes without notice. Beta access is limited, may be modified or revoked at any time, and submitting an application does not guarantee selection or continued access. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the product.

Investment Vault and this website do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Nothing in the Services should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, transfer, or value any security or as guidance for legal or tax compliance. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your circumstances.

Investment Vault reconstructs ownership history from the statements and confirmed events you provide. It can identify potential gaps and inconsistencies based on available evidence, but it does not invent missing records or guarantee completeness, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. Results depend on the quality and coverage of source documents and on your review decisions.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOG HOUSE VENTURES LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

We may suspend or terminate access to beta programs or portions of the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if continued access creates risk, or if we discontinue a feature or program. You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the effective date of the current version. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States and the state of formation of Dog House Ventures LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. Venue for disputes arising from these Terms will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the company’s principal place of business.
